Interview conducted by Oliver Daniel, June 2, 1977 [sound recording].

Tony D'Amato discusses his own education and career with London Records, Inc. and his relationship with Stokowski. He remembers Stokowski conducting the Czech Philharmonic in Prague in 1974 after his leg injury; and remembers Stokowski conducting in Geneva with the Suisse Romande. He discusses Stokowski's character and conducting; the importance of recording Stokowski in concert rather than in the studio when Stokowski was in his 90s; and mentions Marty Wargo, Joyce Bright, Ray Few, Ilana Vared, Natalie Bender, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Welsh Opera Company, and Stokowski's daughter Lyuba. Stokowski's contract with London Records and conductors Monteux and Toscanini are also subjects of the interview.
